This is #4. Based on a photo from our farm pond. I painted this one for my dad! He was excited when he saw it. As it turns out, he chose the second of this series as his painting and has it prominently displayed! So… Yoda and the Woodpecker are just hanging around.
Black Gesso Bottom, Gesso Outline 
Main dark color Blocked in Using Sea Sponge and Black Gesso. Used water with Gesso to flick up small sticks and twigs. 
Sky colors in – not blended.
