This was my attempt to re-create an episode of the Joy of Painting. Specifically, Season 14, Episode 1, Distant Mountains. Painted on August 14th, 2020. Took me nearly two hours. This is waaaay down from how long they used to take. I am more comfortable with the tools and techniques now, so I am continuing to improve with each painting. Perhaps I should entertain the notion of leaning on having a seat. My back begins to flare pain after 2+ hours, Maybe a fatigue met would help, the floor is solid concrete in my studio space. Any suggestions? I usually have to sign the painting later in the day, or even the next day because the back pain prevents me from stooping over to sign it.
